Bahria town hands over Rs 50m cheque to Abdul Sattar Edhi

KARACHI: Chief Executive Bahria Town Zain Malik has handed over Rs 50 million cheque to Edhi Foundation chief Abdul Sattar Edhi on Friday.

Earlier Malik Riaz had announced that he would try to compensate some of the losses the renowned philanthropists suffered due to a dacoity in the Edhi Foundation centre .

“I respect Abdul Sattar Edhi and I can’t leave him alone in difficult times,” Riaz said.

Earlier, robbers had looted millions of rupees, besides five kg gold from Abdul Sattar Edhi’s centre in Mithadar.

Currently, police is investigating the robbery case.
