2nd Day: Pakistan to start batting on 219 runs against Australia

DUBAI: Pakistan are going to start their batting on 219 runs against Australia in the first Test match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, October 23.

Pakistan opener Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad lost their wickets immediately after adding just three runs on score board.

Experienced player Younis Khan and Azhar Ali made 115 runs partnership for third wicket.

Younis knocked a century (106) hitting a six and 10 boundaries while Ali made half-century (53) hitting six boundaries.

At the end of the day, Ali and Younis had also lost their wickets and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Asad Shafiq had come in the ground.

Mitchell Johnson took three wickets giving 22 runs in 20 overs.
