KARACHI: Renowned philanthropist and chief of Edhi Foundation Abdul Sattar Edhi on Wednesday inaugurated Edhi Transplant Unit at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).
According to reports, the unit has been established with the financial assistance of Edhi Welfare organisation.
Inaugurating the unit, Edhi said that he was very happy to open the Edhi transplant unit at SIUT.
He said, “I am thankful to robbers that they spared my life.”
Unshaken by the incident, he vowed to continue with serving the suffering humanity come what may.
