Pakistan urges UN to advise India against shelling at LoC, Working Boundary

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz made a telephonic contact with the United Nation (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon over the situation at the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary.

Sartaj Aziz urged Ban Ki-Moon to ask India to adopt a mature approach and avoid unprovoked shelling at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.

Sartaj Aziz briefed the Secretary-General on the frequency and intensity of the unprovoked and indiscriminate firing and shelling by the Indian forces and the civilian casualties, injuries and damage to property.

He warned UN Secretary General that Pakistan can give befitting reply to any aggression.
