ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that he will accept Bilawal Bhutto as his leader “if the PPP chairperson asked his father Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif how much money they have in foreign accounts and assets in foreign countries”.
The PTI chief was responding to PPP chairperson’s speech in their Karachi rally.
Addressing participants of PTI’s sit-in in Islamabad, he also said that he did not think it suitable to answer a child, referring to Bilawal Bhutto.
The PTI chief said that PPP spent more money on its public meeting in Karachi than PTI did for its Karachi rally.
Imran said that rallies could not be successful by bringing in people like animals.
Later, a PTI spokesman also responded to PPP’s allegations against PTI’s leadership.
The spokesman said Asif Zardari and Bilawal could not rescue Nawaz Sharif. He added that Bilawal Bhutto does not understand Pakistan’s politics.
The PPP is afraid of PTI’s entry in Sindh, the spokesman added.
The PPP spent billions of rupees on Bilawal’s introduction, the PTI spokesman further said.
The PTI spokesman added that the previous government of PPP destroyed the economy of Pakistan.
