KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan has hoped that young party chairman will introduce new blood in the party.
Aitazaz was addressing the party’s mammoth rally in Karachi. Referring to the party’s Chairman, Aitzaz said Bilawal has stepped in politics at such a young age.
The lawyer-politician said that no voice of rigging was heard in Multan NA-149 by-elections and PPP candidate stood third. “The party must take note of the failure and work hard day and night,” he said.
Aitzaz also said that the party has been passing through tough time. “We all must think on it,” he said.
He said that the public meeting of PPP was held in the memory of the martyrs who laid their lives on October 18, 2007.
He said that when PPP comes to political field it changes the situation. PPP leaders, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives for the party, he added.
Watching PPP chairperson Bilawal’s enthusiasm and passion the workers’ spirit of democracy has refreshed, Aitazaz added.
