MULTAN: Low turnout has been witnessed in by-election on NA-149 Multan, as officials associated with the election process estimates the turnout to remain between 25 to 30 percent.
Polling remained largely peaceful except some minor incidents and complaints of mismanagement.
At 35 polling stations voter lists were not provided where people resorted to protest.
The polling officials complained that they were provided with substandard food.
At various polling stations people cast their votes showing their ballot papers.
