MULTAN: Independent candidate Malik Amir Dogar, who is being supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has won by-election for NA-149 constituency against strong competitor Javed Hashmi in Multan.
A tough fight is being observed in NA-149 bye-election between both independent candidates Javed Hashmi and Malik Amir Dogar.
According to unofficial counting report, Amir Dogar got 58,219 votes and Hashmi got 47,107 votes while Dogar got 11,112 extra votes than Hashmi in the election.
Hashmi admitted his defeat and congratulated Dogar over the victory in by-election.
