“Go Watto Go” slogans at PPP meeting in Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s meeting with leaders and workers of Sahiwal division turned into fish market, when party workers chanted slogans against party  Central Punjab chapter president Mian Manzoor Watto.

The sloganeering and disorder in the meeting prompted Asif Zardari to intervene. When the sloganeering intensified, Zardari left the meeting .

The opponents of Manzoor Watoo chanted “Go Wattoo Go” slogans during the meeting which prompted his supporters to respond the sloganeering with counter slogans.

Zardari tried to cool the party activists, asking them to shun their internal differences which harmed the party.
