“PPP will not do politics on dead bodies”: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

KARACHI: Reacting to Friday’s stampede after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) public meeting, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto said on Saturday that his party would not do politics over dead bodies.

As many as seven people were killed in horrific Qasim Bagh incident. PTI blamed the police and local administration, which are controlled by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) Punjab government, for the tragedy.

Opposition party PPP has been supporting ruling PML-N in the National Assembly against the efforts of PTI and Tahirul Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for the overthrow of the government.
