Benazir International Airport’s runway closed for flights

ISLAMABAD: Benazir International Airport’s runway has been closed for flights due to oil spread on the runway, TheNewsTribe, com reported on Saturday.

According to TheNewsTribe.com correspondent, PIA’s free flight was coming from Jeddah and performed a technical landing at Islamabad Air port.

The place suffered some technical issues during landing and burst the hydraulic gear which cause oil spreading on the runway while plane was also stuck there.

However Islamabad Airport declared emergency to clear the runway and was closed for all kinds of flights.

Meanwhile four plans are still waiting in the Islamabad sky for landing.
