MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday announced to support independent candidate Amir Dogar against former PTI president and Javed Hashmi.
PTI vice chairman while talking to media said, PTI will support Ami Dogar in by-election on NA-149 which was vacant by Javed Hashmi who would enjoy the support of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
As many as 18 candidates would be contesting NA-149 by-polls but after the support announced by PTI and PML-N to Amir Dogar and Javed Hashmi respectively, both of them have surfaced as the most significant candidates who have now become politically active.
The faith of both Javed Hashmi and Amir Doger will be in hands of 342,000 voters in 286 polling stations.
However PTI already boycott the by election on this seat.
