Malala ‘Pride of Pakistan’: PM Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Pakistani politicians praised  Malala Yousafzai  for winning the Nobel Peace Prize, declaring her ‘Pride of Pakistan.’

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while felicitating Malala for the achievement declared her ‘Pride of Pakistan.’ He hailed her struggle for girls education and pledged that the government would ensure right to education of every Pakistani child.

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan and others also congratulated the youngest Nobel Prize winner.

PPP leader Sharmila Farooqi  congratulated Malala, declaring that winning Nobel Prize was a joyful moment for the whole nation.

Pakistan’s first Oscar award winner, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy said that Pakistani girls had a lot of talent and if they were provided opportunities they can achieve much more.
