Kansi tribe chief recovered from Peshawar

QUETTA: Chief of Kansi Tribe and leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Arbab Abdul Zahir was recovered from Peshawar, his family sources said.

He was abducted from Quetta’s Patel Road last year on October 23.

The abductors have demanded heavy ransom for his release.  However, provincial president Awami National Party Asghar Achakzai said that Arbab Abdul Zahir was released without payment of any ransom, adding that tribal elders played vital role in his release.
