OGRA recommends cut in oil prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Monday recommended up to Rs 3 litre reduction in prices of petroleum products.

In a working paper sent to the petroleum and finance ministries, Ogra recommended Rs2.60 per litre reduction in the price of petrol.

A reduction of 70 paisa has been proposed in the price of high speed diesel. A 1.7 rupees cut in the price of kerosene, has been recommended.

Ogra has proposed Rs 3 per litre reduction in the price of high octane blending component.

New prices for petroleum products will be implemented from October 1st.
