Lions have the vital opportunity to proceed to the knock outs of the competition while Perth Scorchers were already out of the semi final race.
From Group A, Indian Premier League (IPL) champion Kolkata Knight Riders qualified for the next round wile one spot reaming in the semifinal line up which will be filled by either Lahore Lions or Chennai Super Kings.

Now Lions have to defeat Scorchers with big margin if they want to qualify for the knock outs of CLT20.
