Apple rolls out iOS 8.0.2 update to fix Touch ID

WASHINGTON: Apple launched iOS 8.0.2 update to fix the issues caused by the release of iOS 8.0.1.

Apple released its iOS 8.0.1 update a few days ago, which instead of making things better on all fronts, ended up disabling the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and the cellular service on many iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones.

Now company released the new iOS 8.0.2 update to fix the Touch ID and other issues.

It’s worth pointing out that the Health app will not work in iOS 8 after this, but it will be up and running again once the iOS 8.0.2 update kicks in.

The new iOS 8.0.2 update roll out today to fix what iOS 8.0.1 broke, hopefully not doing more damage of its own.

iOS 8.0.2 can be downloaded on all iOS 8-compatible devices. Just pop into Settings>General>Software Update to find it.
