ISLAMABAD: In view of alarming situation of polio virus in Pakistan Federal government has decided to establish central polio operation center in Islamabad.
It is likely that the federal government will approve the establishment of central polio operation center in the capital to monitor all the developments in the country regarding polio.
The center will be headed by Dr Safdar of Extended Program of Immunization (EPI). Â It would remain in touch with all four provinces and districts regarding polio vaccination and eradication.
The center will also monitor all Executive District Officers’ (EDOs) work for the eradication of polio.
