At least 264 killed in flood, rains: NDMA report

ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority’s (NDMA) published a report on Tuesday about the situation of flood affected areas in Punjab.

According to NDMA report, at least 264 people lost their lives while 414 have been injured in the country due to floods and heavy rain.

The floods have partially damaged 1242 houses while completely sweeping away 191 houses.

More than 3000 villages have been affected by rains and floods while standing crops on 2345000 acr have been damaged.

The floods have affected a population of about 436,000 and over 630000 people have been evacuated, NDM report.

Over 450 health centers have been established for the flood affects.
