Hakimullah Mehsud in PTI sit-in

ISLAMABAD: A child named Hakimullah Mehsud has become the focus of attention in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) sit-in in Islamabad.

According to media reports, the 4-year-old child Mehsud has toy Kalashnikov and hand grenades.

His father says he didn’t name his son after late TTP chief ‘Hakimullah Mehsud’.

“My child’s dress and Kalashnikov do not express the Taliban culture, but that of our tribal areas,” he added.

Mehsud was the leader of Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP) and was killed by an American drone strike in 2013.
