Court orders to send 100 arrested PTI workers to jail

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad session court has ordered to send 100 arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers to jail for 14-day judicial remand.

Earlier, the Court had charged Rs. 20,000 to each person but they could not pay the fine despite order.

According to report, PTI workers stopped prison van carrying fellows.

PTI leader Arfi Alvi said that police arrested the party workers under article 144.

Heavy contingent of police summoned in F-8 Kachehri to maintain law and order situation.
