RAIPUR: Northern Knights defeated Southern Express by 7 wickets in first qualifying group match of Champion League T20 on Saturday in Raipur.
The match was reduced to 10 overs per innings due to wet outfield. Northern Knights chased down the 93 runs total easily with 7 wickets in hand.
Skipper Williamson played a brilliant knock of 52 runs, while Anton Devcich smashed 14 runs of 8 balls.
Dilruwan Perera took one wicket for Southern Express.
