ISLAMABAD: Pakistan celebrated ‘Defence Day’ on September 6 for giving homage to Shuhada who offered sacrifice in defence of the homeland.
Special ceremonies were held at the tombs of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and Allama Iqbal in Lahore.
A ceremony was held at the tomb of Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed in Lahore.
Besides, President Mamnoon Hussain said that we should promote ‘national unity’ and ‘national solidarity’ in the country.
