ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on the eve of ‘Defence Day 6th September’ that Government and nation constantly stand by armed forces and ready to offer any sacrifice for defence of homeland.
Hussain said that we should promote ‘national unity’ and ‘national solidarity’ in the country.
“Pakistan army is always ready to face external and internal threats at any cost,” Hussain said.
Sharif said that the country’s economy should be strong and we must support the democracy even many differences among political parties.
A ceremony was held on the occasion of ‘Defence Day’ at Mazar of Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed in Lahore.
