ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s renowned lawyer and Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has praised the positive move of Chaudhry Nisar who announced burying the hatchets despite disagreements with him.
Differences seemed settled down between the Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Senator Aitzaz Ahsan after Nisar delivered a speech at a press meeting on Saturday (today).
Ahsan reiterated that he has right to criticise the government, but the ‘Plan-D’ has failed after reconciliation with the interior minister Chaudhry Nisar.
Senator Aitzaz Ahsan welcomed Nisar’s statement of granting pardons to everyone who leveled allegations during the joint session of the parliament, a local channel reported.
While pointing towards anti-government protestors, he said that ‘Plan A’ became unsuccessful as 1 million Pakistanis did not gather in protests. He said ‘Plan B’ failed after the joint parliament session.
‘However, the forgiveness move is a significant step towards betterment of the country,’ Ahsan said.
