KARACHI: One year completed in Karachi operation which begun last year on the orders of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif last year.
During the yearlong operation Rangers performed 3561 raids in the metropolitan city where 2935 criminals were arrested, according to released data of Rangers.
Among the arrested criminals, 152 target killer and 225 extortionists are also included.
According to the released data, at least 150 criminals were encountered during the operation including 28 kidnappers and 12 terrorist.
Almost 197 terrorist and other criminals were killed in the year long operation, further in released data.
