ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudry Nisar has refuse to buckle under pressure by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership urging to end debates against Aitzaz Ahsan, local media reported on Friday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has held an important meeting with the Chaudhry Nisar in Islamabad today; urging him to stop creating more complications and ending debates.
The three-hour long meeting was commenced amid sensitive political situation created after Nisar’s statement against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan in joint parliamentary session.
According to reports, PMLN leadership pressurising the interior minister to bury the hatchet while Chaudhry Nisar is insisting to hold a press conference for clarifications.
It is noteworthy to mention here that PM Nawaz Sharif had apologised the parliamentarians including Khursheed Shah and Aitzaz Ahsan over controversial statement of Chaudhry Nisar during joint parliamentary session today.
On the other hand, the interior minister vowed to respond Aitzaz Ahsan’s speech soon and insistent to call a press conference tomorrow.
