PESHAWAR: A politico-religious party in Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), has announced to organise ‘National Advisory Conference’ on September 1 (today) in the federal capital Islamabad.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq stepped forward to seek peaceful solutions of the ongoing political tensions in Islamabad amid severe protests and police actions.
Siraj-ul-Haq announced to convene a national advisory conference at 11:00am (Pakistan Time) today in Islamabad.
Several political parties and leaders have been invited by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq, especially those political personalities and parties who has played roles during the ongoing political crisis.
According to JI’s central media cell, Siraj-ul-Haq was addressing an important press conference in Markaz-e-Islami Peshawar over current situation of the country.
He suggested Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to make one step up via inviting Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri on the dialogue table in sake of country’s interests.
Haq added that JI is starting its new series of efforts to resolve all matters peacefully, as well as to stop bloodshed on the Islamabad roads, despite being a silent audience.
He revealed his stance that all political powers have responsibility to play their roles for resolution of issues if government and protesting political parties failed to bring positive results from negotiations.
