WASHINGTON: As we are getting closer to launch Apple’s next generation iPhone, now new report recons that the company will launch 4.7 inch iphone 6 and 8GB version of iPhone 5S.
Apple is all set to debut its next generation iPhone 6 but now new leaked report opens new chapter in tech world.
According to leaked report, the company set to launch the new iPhone 6 4.7 inch model and iPhone 5S 8GB model not 5.5 inch iPhone 6 (iPhone 6L) on September 9.
For quite some time, all sorts of leaks and reports have been trying to paint a picture of what to expect from Apple’s iPhone launch this year.
The company should unveil two iPhone 6 models, one with a 4.7-inch display and the other with a 5.5-inch panel, but most reports claim that the larger model would arrive at a later date.
More specifically, Chinese tech blog IT168 Mobile claims (via GforGames) that Apple will launch its 4.7-inch iPhone 6 at the event, alongside a new 8GB variant of its iPhone 5S, which may come to replace the poorly-performing iPhone 5C. In other words, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may not make its debut this September after all.
Previous rumors have indicated on several occasions that the larger iPhone 6 model was facing delays and would not launch at the same time as its 4.7-inch counterpart, yet others still insisted that Apple would unleash both models at the same time.
“News from informed sources, said Apple’s press conference on September 9 will only launch 4.7 inches 8GB version of iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S, instead of a 5.5 inch version of iPhone 6,” IT168 Mobile reports.
It’s worth pointing out, however, that this Chinese publication has a virtually non-existent track record when it comes to the accuracy of its Apple-related leaks, therefore it is highly advisable to take its latest report with a hefty grain of salt.
It’s all in the rumor state for now, but one thing’s for sure: at least one iPhone 6 model should break cover on Sept. 9, and we’ll bring you the latest news as soon as they become available.
