Army Chief calls on PM to consult political turmoil

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif has called on Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf at PM house to discuss existing political crisis in the country, media reported.

According to the report, Premier has consulted Army Chief on the prevailing political turmoil adding that both the high up of the country agreed that crisis must be solved through negotiations.

They also agreed to take measures for resumption of dialogues between the Government and leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

The meet up between the Army Chief and the PM continued for one hour.
