Imran Khan stays firm over Pakistan PM’s resignation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan have reiterated his demand of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation as ‘no moral reason left for rulers to remain in government after ECP’s Afzal Khan revelations.’


Imran Khan has made series of significant announcements after chairing meeting of PTI’s core committee in Islamabad.

PTI chief alleged historic rigging in 2013 general election. He claimed involvement of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhry in vote rigging as he was controlling the returning officers, as well as never listened his demands for investigations in four constituencies.

Imran Khan demanded Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to organise re-poling if he is willing to show his dedication and betterment for the nation.

He leveled another allegation that Rs44 billion has again approved by the federal government for the Metro Bus Project which costs around Rs4 billion before past four years.

He also claimed that Nawaz Sharif is trying to give bribe to media and journalists, added that they are still standing against the government.

Imran Khan repeated his stance that he will not leave Islamabad until Pm resign.

Khan also appreciated his workers for keeping law orders stable in the federal capital and reminded the government once again that his workers will not fight with Pakistan police.

He also said, Government is trying to create violence with calling out rallies, and further added that, in case of any violence government will be responsible.

On this occasion he also reminded the government that he have kept his promise to keep his workers away from creating violence.

Imran Khan also said, there is no legal excuse left for Nawaz Sharif to keep his seat after Afzal Khan’s allegations.

He also said that Afzal Khan proved all his allegation on the government were right.
