England, India first ODI washed away following heavy rain fall

BRISTOL: Rain and a wet outfield brought a premature end to the first One Day International (ODI) between England and India scheduled to be played at the County Ground.

England already beaten the world champions India in the test series 3-1, while, five match ODI series schedule to began today.

However rain interrupted before the start of the play and ending without the ball being played.

The second ODI between the host England and India will be played at Cardiff on August 27.
