WASHINGTON: As Samsung just debut its first ever metallic android device Samsung Galaxy Alpha, now device is set to go on pre-orders in UK.
According to report, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is set to go for pre-order from August 28 while it will ship on September 10.
The device will be available for pick-up from Samsung Store at Westfield Stratford City from 10th September for those who have pre-ordered it.
 The general availability of the Galaxy Alpha will start from 12th September through online and offline retailers including Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u.
The Galaxy Alpha is not only Samsung’s first Galaxy device to feature a metallic frame but also their slimmest Android smartphone ever with a waistline of just 7mm.
It is equipped with a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a fingerprint sensor, a 12MP primary camera with 4K (2160p) video recording capabilities and a 1860 mAh battery. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, the Galaxy Alpha is powered by an Exynos 5 Octa 5430 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, though, it lacks a microSD card slot.
The device will be available in the UK in four attractive colour options; Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver, and Scuba Blue.
