DUBAI: Sri Lanka’s star batsmen Kumar Sangakkara on Tuesday regained top spot in Reliance ICC player rankings for test.
He achieved this milestone after scoring 10th double century in first Test played against Pakistan, where home side Sri Lanka defeated the green shirts by seven wickets.
According to the new Reliance ICC Test batmen rankings, Sanagakkara dominates the top spot with 920 points while South Africa’s AB De Villiers is at second with 899 points and his team mate Hashim Amla stayed at third with 878 points.
Pakistani Skipper Misbah-ul Haq stayed at 8 position, while Younis Khan makes his way in the top ten batsman.
