LAHORE: Jamaat e Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has said that he’ll continue his efforts for the settlement of current political situation of the country, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
As a Pakistani and the representative of my nation, Its my duty to play a positive role in the crisis, said Siraj ul Haq while addressing to the media at front of Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif’s house in Lahore.
“Incase of any accident on August 14 the Police can be intervene and fine will be due on everyone.”
JI chief has also briefed the media about his reconciliation efforts between Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) government and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
“We are trying to bring PTI and PML-N on a single page where democratic system can be safe, we are struggling to secure the country, constitution and the people.”
We don’t want bloody roads and dead bodies of innocent people on the Independence Day that’s why JI trying to cool down the situation, added JI chief.
Haq said that electoral reforms ad rigging free elections are very necessary for the country and JI expect that all political forces play their due role in the assemblies.
