Sharif under pressure to let Musharraf go, Haq blasts

Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N)’s leader of house in senate Raja Zafar-ul-Haq finally burst out and dared to figure out Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharaf as cause of revolutionary slogans heading towards Islamabad.

Haq, on Sinday, first ever officially confessed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was under pressure to let Musharraf go out of the country.

Terming the ongoing political turmoil in the country as drama, he saw its roots in high treason case against the former dictator.

He also accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri of working on foreign agendas.

Without naming any institution, PML-N leader said that ‘hidden forces,’ who want a safe exit without trial for Musharaf, have been pressurising the prime minister in this regard.
