Post-traumatic stress disorder has dangerously developed. An Israeli columnist Gili Cohen in The war that comes after the Gaza war reveals, “For soldiers with post traumatic stress disorder, the real battles are just beginning.”
In another case, Israeli veterans have made a statement (published in The Independent) against the current fighting.
Ex-soldiers reveal the pressure put by superiors to kill innocent Palestinians and question the IDF’s commitment to leaving the unarmed unharmed.
Israeli former politician Uzi Baram in his latest piece of opinion The shame on an Israel dripping with venom points out that “A new protest is forming, and not just against the occupation, It’s against the racism that’s erupting everywhere.”
Another Israeli columnist Uri Misgav in The Iron Dome over our consciences pens, “Restraint? I’d like to see how Israelis would react if just once an F-16 squadron swooped down on a residential neighborhood and dropped a ton of smart bombs on it.”
Israeli author and journalist Amira Haas in her column Reaping what we have sown in Gaza laments, “I’ve stopped searching the dictionary for the word to describe half of a boy’s missing head while his father screams “Wake up, wake up, I bought you a toy!”
How did Angela Merkel, the chancellor of Greater Germany, put it? Israel’s right to defend itself.”
These and many more other evidences are there to prove that Israel is now going through war within.
