Defiant Imran rejects Nawaz Sharif talk offer

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was making futile efforts to isolate his party.

Responding to Nawaz Sharif’s offer of negotiations, Khan said he was too busy to hold talks with the prime minister.

He advised Mr. Sharif to avoid from playing on both ends of the wicket. Imran Khan categorically said that he would not talk to the prime minister and would lead the long march to the federal capital.

The former cricket star also criticized the government for impounding motorcycles and other vehicles in an effort to prevent his party workers from attending the march.

“Government will be responsible if we are stopped,” he warned
