PM Nawaz Sharif sets second meeting with JI delegation

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has scheduled another meeting with delegation of a politico-religious party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), in order to discuss ‘political formula’ suggested by Siraj-ul-Haq.

Closer sources of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) said that PM Nawaz Sharif will meet JI delegation again tomorrow in Islamabad.

Suggestions presented by the JI delegation during his last meeting held on Wednesday (yesterday) will be discussed in the upcoming meeting, sources said.

Moreover, the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique also made telephonic contacts with another senior leader of JI, Liaquat Baloch.

Siraj-ul-Haq foretells ‘big incident’ after August 14

It should be mentioned that JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq has emerged as most prominent personality to continue reconciliation process between Pakistan government and protesting party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) is also an ally of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government.

Siraj-ul-Haq is currently present in Peshawar, from where he conducted an important press conference today, and predicted ‘big incident’ after August 14 if government fails to take rapid moves to counter the political crisis.
