ISLAMABAD: Electricity breakdown is not a new thing for energy-starved country but this time sudden power outage hits the National Assembly members during the meeting.
Usually the elected members of National Assembly are considered among those privileged Pakistanis who avail all facilities at any cost and routine short-coming not effecting them.
According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from capital city Islamabad, Public representatives in National Assembly of Pakistan astonished when suddenly electricity went missing.
Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) officials said that fault in power distribution line was the reason behind more than 30 minutes electricity break-down.
Meanwhile, Residents of the localities falling in the jurisdiction of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) have been facing worst kind of power loadshedding during day and night — even if there is cloudy weather.
The concerned officials claimed that they were getting only 800MW electricity against 1600MW demand for the areas under Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco).
