4 more polio cases reported in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Four more polio case have been reported in different areas of Pakistan, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Officials from National Institute of Health (NIH) have confirmed the report of new polio cases.

According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from Islamabad, new cases were reported from Sindh, Punjab, KP and FATA.

Karachi (Sindh), Peshawar (KP), FATA and Kalar Kahar (Punjab) are among the areas where new cases have been reported.

108 cases have been reported across the country during first 8 months of this year (2014).

North Waziristan (FATA) is on top of Polio-Effected-Areas-of-Pakistan list with 58 patients while Punjab at lowest with only One Polio patient.
