LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri said on Sunday, ‘We neither accept midterm elections nor make it happen’.
According to reports, Awami Tehreek chief and other collation parties leaders visited Pakistan Muslim League (Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s residence and reviewed preparation of ‘Revolution March’ and ‘Martyrs Day’.
Tahri ul Qadri was addressing media in Lahore, said that revolution is the only solution for the country and declared midterm election claim a fiction.
Awami Tehreek chief guaranteed to observe a peaceful ‘Martyrs Day’ in remembrance of Model Town victims and also dedicated the day for the soldiers participating in the Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan.
On this occasion Chaudhy Shujaat said, ‘We are not in favor of this democracy where people commit suicide.’
It should be mentioned that both of the protesting political parties, PAT and PTI, are demanding revolutionary reformations in the democratic systems, as well as announced to let down the ongoing federal governmental via public power.
