Venezuela will adopt children of Gaza

CARACAS: President of Latin American country Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro has announced that his country is planning to adopt the child survivors of Gaza tragedy and they are about to set up a facility that will serve as a shelter for such children.

Addressing on national TV, he said that Venezuela would build a shelter in to welcome Palestinian child survivors of the conflict.

He further said that the other countries as regional allies will also do the same.

“We’re proposing in the heart of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) that a shelter is created in our countries carrying the name of Hugo Chavez, to bring in the children of this war,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Venezuela’s foreign minister said an initiative to send relief aid to Gaza is a “testament of solidarity” with Gazans being “massacred” by Israel.

According to sources Venezuela’s foreign ministry started collecting o donations of humanitarian aid for Gaza on Thursday which will soon be sent to Gaza.
