ISLAMABAD: Bahria Town on Friday announced to provide financial support to the families of the Sea View tragedy’s victims.
Chairman Bahria Town, Malik Riaz Hussain, announced to provide Rs1 million to the family of each victim, who lost their live in the Sea View incident, occurred in Karachi.
According to officials, at least 36 dead bodies have been recovered so far during the three-day long rescue operation while four people are still missing, believed to be drowned in the tragedy.
Dozens of citizens had drowned while bathing due to rough waves on the Clifton beach on July 30.
Malik Riaz Hussain expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the incident.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also announced compensation of Rs200,000 to the family of each victim.
