MQM alleges ‘biased actions’ during Karachi operation

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday once again criticised the ongoing operation in Karachi, which it terms biased.


MQM said that its activists were being subjected to torture under custody after being arrested by the security agencies in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.

The MQM Rabita Committee in Karachi said that fake cases were being imposed on its activists detained during Karachi operation.

Rabita Committee said that various activists and supporters of the party were arrested during Karachi operation while the detainees are being presented as ‘target killers’ and ‘criminals’.

Many of the activists were taken in to custody from their homes, shops and mosques in the metropolis, whereas, Rabita Committee alleged that MQM activists are facing ‘character assasination’ by the law enforcers.

The committee claimed that there is no positive results gained by the targeted operation in Karachi due to ‘biased activities’.
