South Africa likely to make new world record in Test format

COLOMBO: South African team is very near to set a new world record after 21 years under new captaincy of Hashim Amla if they win Test series against Sri Lanka on their home ground.


Both teams will play two matches, in which the South Africa leads the series 1-0 by winning the first Test by 153 runs against the host at Galle International stadium.

Second Test match is in progress at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo where Sri Lanka so far scored 305 runs on loss of five wickets at the end of first day.
