LG G3 Mini leaked, specs confirmed

WASHINGTON: As LG is enjoying the success of its flagship smartphone LG G3 and now an image of LG’s flagship mini device LG G3 Mini leaked gives us the first glimpse of the device.

The smartphone leaked on several occasions this time it’s a bit different. According to reports and rumors the device cold launch as LG G3 Beat.

The images come from Chinese website PCPop (via Le Journal Du Geek) and claim to show the LG G3 Mini, while also confirming some of the previously rumored specifications.

According to this new leak, the smaller LG G3 will sport a not-so-mini 5-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.

Other purported specs of the LG G3 Mini, or Beat, include 16GB of internal storage capacity, an 8-megapixel rear camera that boasts the same laser auto focus as the flagship LG G3, dual SIM support, and a 2,500 mAh battery. On the software side, the handset will reportedly run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

As far as design is concerned the LG G3 mini or LGG3 Beat looks very identical to LG G3 but bite little in size, or you can say a Compaq version of LG G3.

We’ll keep you up to date as soon as more information surfaces, but for the time being it’s highly advisable to take everything with a grain of salt, as it’s all based solely on leaks and speculation.
