MQM to show solidarity with Pakistan Army on July 6

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday announced rally to show solidarity with Pakistan Army fighting against terrorism in the country.


MQM announced to organise a public gathering in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan, on July 6 in order to show unity with Pakistan Army currently busy in ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ operation in tribal areas.

Veteran politician and prominent leader of MQM, Farooq Sattar, appealed the locals to participate in the public meeting organised by the political party.

The public gathering will be held in famous Jinnah ground of Karachi scheduled at 4:00pm, another prominent leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui told local media in the metropolis.

Siddiqui said that the ‘decisive’ military operation started by consensus, while some people were willing to put behind the operation.

He said that Pakistan is going through critical time of its history as terrorism surrounded the whole country.

The MQM leader added that Pakistani armed forces are fighting for the country’s security and sovereignty.

It should be mentioned that MQM is one of the hardline political parties in the Pakistani houses who were demanded strict military operation against the militants present in tribal part of Pakistan when the federal government insisting to resolve the matters via peace dialogues.
