PESHAWAR: Pakistani security forces deceased at least 15 suspected militants in various attacks including ground battles and air strikes on Tuesday (today) in militant-held North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
The security officials carried out targeted attack in the Mir Ali tehsil of the agency, whereas, military fighter jets destroyed various hideouts in Koki Khel area and Tirah area of the Khyber Agency, Dawn News reported.
The report quoted official sources that at least ten militants were killed during attack in Meraban loki Khel area of Khyber Agency while four hideouts were also destroyed by security forces.
Local and tribal sources told Dawn News that at least seven civilians including a woman and children died when a mortar shell or bomb hit a house in the Meraban Loki Khel area which is located in part of Tirrah Valley in the Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber Agency.
However, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) is due to release details of the incidents.
