MUMBAI: Karan Johar once said that ‘Suddhi’ is his dream project and he was very excited for the film until it was jinxed.
The most wanted director of Bollywood is unable to finalize a dream cast for his dream project.
Initially, his first choice for the lead couple was Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. In early 2000s, this couple was really appreciated by audiences, even some used to compare it to ShahRukh and Kajol so KJo thought to bring back them together but Hrithik and Kareen refused to do the film.
Then KJo considered the recent Ram Leela sensation Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone but this couple chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next project over Suddhi.
According to reports from Indian media, Johar even approached his best friend ShahRukh but even he declined the role.
And now the latest buzz was that Aamir Khan will do the lead character in ‘Suddhi’ but Khan crashed these rumours by saying that he was never approached for the main lead of ‘Suddhi’ by Johar so obviously he is not doing the movie.
The question that has been in the news for quite a while still remains there as the lead cast of Suddhi is still pending
